Education Slots

Each week we have a 5 minute education slot and once a month there is an extended 2 hour in-depth session following the meeting  The aim is to spread knowledge and ideas to all the members and guests. The subjects can be as diverse as; suggestions for preparing a 60 seconds speech, tips on social networking, how to get the most from network, etc.

Here are some of our recent slots:

January 2012 Attracting visitors Identifying visitors who would benefit  from networking with ON.
February 2012 Presentation Skills Identifying what you need to say and getting your message out to your audience. Is my style appropriate? Am I projecting myself well?
March 2012 Referral skills What makes a great referral and making sure that the contact is expecting the call.
April 2012 IT Skills Handling multiple email addresses, IT infrastructure demystified, Telecoms including voice over IP (VOIP), Tips on Microsoft Office
May 2012 Social Media What is it? Why does it matter? How can it work for me? How can I maximise the benefits?
